Lake District: Lake Windermere Cruise, Gretna Green

  • After breakfast, we proceed to Lake District. The lake District is by far and away UK's most popular national park.   • Later, we will also be doing the cruise on Lake Windermere, England's largest lake in the heart of the Lake District, explore the most scenic views of the Lakeland fells. We continue to the famous border town of Gretna Green. Gretna Green is a village in the south of Scotland famous for its traditional run away wedding. It was historically the first village in Scotland following the old coaching route from London to Edinburgh.

We continue to the city of Glasgow, disarmingly blending sophistication and earthiness, Scotland's biggest city has evolved over the last couple of decades to become one of Britain's most intriguing metropolises. Loch Lomond – Glencoe – Fort Willam, Nevis Range

Orientation tour of Glasgow & Edinburgh along with entrance to Edinburgh Castle

  • Later we head to Edinburgh & proceed on a city sightseeing tour of Edinburgh and view the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Georgian New Town and the Royal Mile with entrance to Edinburgh Castle.
  • We also visit the Edinburgh Castle, the world famous icon of Scotland and part of the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh’s World Heritage Site. The castle houses the Honours (Crown Jewels) of Scotland, the Stone of Destiny, the famous 15th century gun Mons Meg, the One O' Clock Gun and the National War Museum of Scotland. Time free to explore the famous Royal Mile.
