Jordan has a long-standing tradition of welcoming travellers. Throughout history, camel caravans journeyed along the legendary King’s Highway, transporting frankincense and trading it for spices. Over the centuries, Nabataean merchants, Roman legionnaires, Muslim armies and Crusaders also crossed this land, each leaving behind remarkable monuments that stand today as symbols of Jordan’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.
Meet and assist upon arrival at Amman Airport. Drive to Jerash, one of the best-preserved provincial Roman cities in the world, renowned for its colonnaded streets, temples and theatres. Return to Amman for a panoramic city tour. Spread across 19 hills, Amman is both the ancient and modern capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to Madaba. Visit the Orthodox Church of Saint George, home to the renowned 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have viewed the Promised Land. Proceed to Wadi Rum for a 2-hour 4x4 desert jeep tour through dramatic red-sand landscapes and towering rock formations shaped by centuries of wind.

Breakfast at the camp. Depart for Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and Jordan’s most treasured attraction. Explore this ancient Nabataean city carved directly into rose-red cliffs. Later, continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth at more than 400 metres (1,312 ft) below sea level. Enjoy free time to float effortlessly in the mineral-rich waters and relax.

After breakfast, transfer to Bethany Beyond the Jordan, the baptism site of Jesus Christ and a major Christian pilgrimage location. After the visit, proceed to Amman Airport for departure.
