While in Interlaken, experience the ultimate alpine highlight with an excursion to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, home to Europe’s highest railway station and stunning views of the Aletsch Glacier.
Welcome to Switzerland. Upon arrival at Zurich Airport, proceed on your own to the railway station and travel by train to Lucerne from the airport, border, or any other destination within Switzerland. On arrival, enjoy a short walk from the railway station to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Lucerne’s charming Old Town at leisure. Situated on the shores of Lake Lucerne and surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama, the city is renowned for its Chapel Bridge, Water Tower, lakeside promenades, souvenir and watch shops, and proximity to excursion mountains such as Rigi, Pilatus, and Stanserhorn. Overnight in Lucerne.
After breakfast, walk to the railway station to begin a memorable journey on the Golden Pass Line. This scenic route takes you from the German-speaking region of Lucerne over the Brünig Pass into the Bernese Oberland, passing Lake Brienz and arriving at Interlaken. Continuing along Lake Thun, the train travels through the Simmen Valley to Zweisimmen and the famous resort of Gstaad. As French influences emerge, the journey proceeds through the picturesque Pays d’Enhaut, passing charming villages such as Château d’Oex and Montbovon, before a tunnel opens to panoramic views of Lake Geneva and Montreux. On arrival, walk to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Montreux.
After breakfast, take time to explore Montreux and its beautiful surroundings. Nestled along a sheltered bay of Lake Geneva and surrounded by vineyards, the town offers spectacular views of the snow-capped Alps. Montreux is also famous for hosting the Montreux Jazz Festival during June and July. Later, transfer by train back to Lucerne. On arrival, walk to your hotel. Lucerne has been a tourism hub since 1840, celebrated for its well-preserved Old Town and iconic landmarks. Overnight in Lucerne.
After breakfast, depart for the Mt. Titlis excursion. Mount Titlis is the highest glacier excursion destination in Central Switzerland and a major ski and snowboard area. Accessed via the world’s first revolving Rotair cable car, the summit at 3,020 meters offers breathtaking views of the Central Alps and access to the glacier park. After the excursion, return to your hotel.

After breakfast, travel by Zentralbahn or regional train via the Brünig Pass to Interlaken. Located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland, Interlaken is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains and serves as a base for numerous alpine activities. Overnight in Interlaken.
After breakfast, embark on the Jungfrau Railway excursion. This remarkable journey ascends through the heart of the mountains to Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe at 3,454 meters. Enjoy spectacular views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks, as well as the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps at 22 km. The train climbs nearly 1,400 meters, covering more than seven kilometers through tunnels along the nine-kilometer route. After the excursion, return to your hotel. Overnight in Interlaken.
After breakfast, enjoy time for last-minute shopping or leisure before transferring by train to the airport, border, or onward to your next holiday destination.
