Rio De Janeiro

  • Full day sugar loaf excursion and city tour Rio w/lunch. 8 hrs this tour begins with a city panoramic view through downtown Rio, passing by the Maracana stadium, the Sambodrome, the Metropolitan cathedral, in pyramid form, with internal diameter of 96 meters and height of 80 meters. Get to know the traditional Cinelandia square with the historical buildings, the Municipal Theater, the National Library and the National Museum of fine arts. By taking the Aterro do Flamengo, you will be taken to the neighborhood of Urca where one of the largest symbols of the city is located: the Sugar Loaf. Over a million tourists a year visit the world famous Pão de Açúcar or Sugar Loaf mountain in English, which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara bay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined sugar loaf. The tour is done in two steps by glass cable-cars. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay its islands. From Urca hill, passengers continue in a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters above sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio. In the afternoon, we will visit Corcovado mountain and the beaches. Drive to one of the older parts of Rio called Cosme Velho, from where we take the train to the Corcovado mountain with the gigantic statue of Christ the Redeemer (2.300ft above sea level). A modern swiss-made cogwheel rail climbs the mountain from its base at 15 meters almost to the summit at 710 meters. The trip up takes 17 minutes aprox, at a maximum speed of 15km/h. The trip down takes 22min., at a speed of 12km/h.

Rio De Janeiro

Rio De Janeiro- Iguassu

  • Breakfast .Check out and transfer to airport for flight to Iguassu. Arrival at Iguassu Airport and transfer to hotel. (20 minutes transfer) Iguassu Falls are located at the border with Brazil and Argentina The Iguazú Falls are the highlight of the Argentine/Brazilian rainforest. The falls are the widest and most imposing water falls on Earth. Their name in the native tongue, guaraní, means Big Waters and this is, undoubtedly, the perfect name for them.
  •  Excursion to Brazilian 2 hrs In the afternoon tour by bus from the Visitor Centre to the Brazilian Falls. Macuco is the first bus stop: a short trail that runs across the rainforest into a 25 mts waterfall: the Macuco fall. After Macuco the bus goes 1 km stopping at diverse observation posts that offer sights of the falls. Iguassu falls are the greatest waterfalls in the world, situated on the borders of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay in South America. The falls consist of 275 cascades spread nearly 2 miles including the famous 'Devil's Throat'.

Iguassu

Visit to Argentinean side of the falls full day excursion 5 hrs The Argentine falls tour takes longer since the inauguration of the new facilities for the Upper, Lower and the Devil´s Throat Circuits. Visitors first arrive to the New visitors Center where you walk the Nature's Interpretation Center. From the visitors center you can board the train that goes first to Cataratas station in about 8 minutes or take a short walk through the “Green Trail” that leads to the beginning of the path towards the upper and lower trails. Otherwise the same train goes on to Garganta station. Once you have finished the circuits, you must go back to the Visitors Center where the vehicles are waiting for the transfer to the hotels or the airport.
  • UPPER CIRCUIT: The 800 meters of catwalks are detached from the jungle´s surface so as to protect the fauna by preventing disruption of their natural trails. From this circuit you have an upper view of the falls, enjoying their magnificence with a panoramic view. Duration of the tour: one (1) hour.
  • LOWER CIRCUIT: 1.600 meters of catwalks, also detached from the jungle’s surface, enjoying a view from below and around the falls. This circuit provides a unique experience of feeling part of the natural surroundings, watching and sensing their magnitude from close. Duration of the tour: two (2) hours
  • DEVIL´S GORGE: Departing from Cataratas station, the train goes up to Garganta station in about 18 minutes. Iguassu-Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires

  • Breakfast at hotel. city tour Buenos Aires 3 hrs. In this tour we invite you to discover Buenos Aires considered the “Reina del Plata”. Starting the tour around the center of the city where the most attractive places are located: Av. 9 de Julio, Colón Theatre and the Obelisk “the symbol of Buenos Aires”. We will continue towards Plaza de Mayo and later to the south of the city passing trough San Telmo with its “tanguerías”, La Boca and Caminito. Continuing to Puerto Madero, the renewed port of the city and important gastronomic area. We will also visit the biggest green space of Buenos Aires, Palermo, with its parks and buildings and last Recoleta, a neighborhood where culture and elegance live together. Buenos Aires-Ushuaia

Transfer to airport to board flight to Ushuaia (30 minutes transfer) Ushuaia lies in the southern end of the Republic of Argentina, on the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost city in the world. Located on the Beagle Channel, it takes its name -which means "bay overlooking the West"- from the yámana tongue. Within the impressive frame made up by the sea, the forests, the lakes and the mountains, Ushuaia is a picturesque city with an important tourist services infrastructure, an elegant commercial center and an increasing social and cultural activity. After arriving, transfer to hotel (20 minutes transfer)
  • Afternoon panoramic city tour around Ushuaia will include a visit to the neighborhoods and its attractions that represent their idiosyncrasies. Departing from Maipú Avenue, towards the Footbridge Luis Pedro Fique, crossing this narrow path that ends at La Mission neighborhood, an area chosen by the first white men settling in Ushuaia. Other districts to visit will be the Brown and Solier, built by the first immigrants at the beginning of the 20th century. During the tour, we will see old houses pertaining to the first settlers like the Bebans, Pastorizas, Cangas, Fiques, Salomons, and Ramos, among others, and the provincial legislature, the old government's house. Ushuaia

  • After breakfast at the hotel head off for a half day Tierra del Fuego National Park tour – train of the end of the world ride included. 4 hrs An old steam-powered train carried the convicts, as they worked to supply firewood for the town. For them it was a hard ride, but today this train has become an attractive way for visitors to get to know a little more about Ushuaia's past. Travelling west along the National Road 3, you will reach the Train Central station, just 8 km. away from the city. A replica of the original train is used to carry visitors and let them experience the same journey that prisoners were forced to make decades ago. Ancient forests of hundreds of years, peat bogs and even a reconstructed indian settlement, can be seen during the ride. Finally, after a brief stop at the Macarena waterfall, the train will lead you into the limits of the National Park. The corner of the earth: a magnificent landscape. This Park, 12 km from Ushuaia, is the only National Park with ocean coast in the country. Its 63.000 hectares protect innumerable ńires, lengas, cherry trees, calafates and notros and flowers as violets and orchids. The walk in the park offers marvelous panoramic views of the Beagle channel surrounded by mountains and an opportunity to feel nature at its best.
  • The Pan American road that joins America from north to south, starts in Alaska and finishes at Lapataia Bay, a dreamt paradise that together with Laguna Verde and Lago Roca is the highlight of the tour.
  • Afternoon Beagle Channel Navigation (Seals Island) 2 hrs transfer to the tourist port to board a catamaran and sail the waters of the Beagle Channel which unites the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans. As the catamaran leaves the shore, the view of the city is spectacular. The tour circles bridges and Archipielago Islands, Les Eclaireurs lighthouse and several rocks where sea mammals and birds find shelter. El Calafate

  • Breakfast at hotel Full day excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier with Nautical safari included (8h). The majesty of nature at its best. Departure from El Calafate bordering the southern arm of the Argentine Lake to get to Los Glaciares National Park (90 km away) and reach the paths to the Glacier.
  • Perito Moreno Glacier is about 30.000 years old. Its surface is 192 km, the front wall is 5 km long and some of its peaks are 80 metres high. The deep blue base is almost as dark as the water that surrounds it.
  • The deep silence is suddenly interrupted by the tremendous noise of huge pieces of ice that crack from the glacier and fall into the lake to float on the Canal de los Tempanos (Icebergs Channel). The Nautical Safari is an invitation to sail along the Rico Arm of Lake Argentino to then border and see the Perito Moreno Glacier from the southern end.
  • This is a new perspective that will allow visitors to discover the glacier’s true dimensions and listen to and watch falling ice blocks. For almost an hour, the boat sails beside the 70-meter (229 ft.) high wall. Overnight at selected hotel.

El Calafate-Bariloche

Bariloche

  • The tour starts in Bariloche, riding down Ezequiel Bustillo Ave.: a winding paved road along the Nahuel Huapi lakeshore.
  • At kilometer 8, you come to Playa Bonita, from where you can see Huemul Island. Continuing along this road for another 10 km, and after passing through some beautiful scenery, you arrive at Campanario hill.
  • You will see Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes, El Trébol lagoon, San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas, Victoria Island, Otto, López, Goye and Catedral hills, and the main town, San Carlos de Bariloche. Further ahead, and after leaving San Pedro peninsula behind, you reach Llao Llao peninsula, with its namesake hilltop hotel and San Eduardo Chapel, two architectural jewels of this region, and you go by Pañuelo Port, the starting point of many lake excursions.
  • Further on you will go by a golf course, cross the bridge over the Angostura river that joins Nahuel Huapi Lake with Moreno Lake, and pass by López Bay at the base of López Hill. Further on, you get to the panoramic point, a belvedere with a magnificent view of Moreno Lake and Llao Llao peninsula. Then you will cross the bridge over Moreno Lake at a narrow end, follow the shoreline of El Trébol lagoon, and 2 km ahead you meet Ezequiel Bustillo Ave. again and return to Bariloche. Bariloche-Puerto Varas

  • Breakfast at hotel From Bariloche to Chile through the Andes mountains 320 kmts. 6 hrs Pullman Bus.
  • Early morning you will leave the city of San Carlos de Bariloche to head straight to the Cardenal Samoré International Pass, (former Puyehue). Behind the mountain range, the Cities of Osorno, Frutillar, Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt are expecting you.
  • You will take Route 237, crossing the source of the Limay River and entering the Province of Neuquén through Route 231, which leads to Villa la Angostura. You will border Lake Nahuel Huapi, which will display the matchless beauty of its sceneries as you advance towards the Cardenal Samoré International Pass, a few kilometers away. This pass lies at 1,314 m.a.s.l. and is open all year round. It is considered the second most important international pass and offers direct communication with Osorno and Puerto Montt through the southern road and with the rest of Chilean Patagonia
  • First you will pass through the Argentinean customs office and the National Gendarmerie. Then, you will repeat the proceedings at the Chilean international police department and, before you expect, you will already step on Chilean land. On Chilean side of the border, the road changes its number into 215. Its conditions are excellent.
  • From that point, you will begin to go down across the native rainforest surrounding the pre-mountain range. Gradually, you will start to see sign posts indicating the way to the famous Puyehue hot springs, the Antillanca Volcano with its ski resort and the kilometers left to reach Osorno, where the bus makes its first official stop. After some minutes the bus will head off to Puerto Varas, one hour away and your final destination.

Puerto Varas

  • This afternoon enjoy a city tour of Santiago 3 hrs departure to the downtown area, starting at Bernardo O"Higgins avenue, the main one in the city and visiting La Moneda presidential palace followed by a walk through the pedestrian Ahumada and Huerfanos streets and “Plaza de Armas” surrounded by the cathedral and other historical buildings. Continue to the old residential areas climbing up San Cristobal hill to have a panoramic view of the city before continuing to other areas of interest such as Bellavista, centre of cultural and artistic activity and Las Condes and Providencia, modern residential areas of Santiago.

Santiago

  • Breakfast at hotel full day excursion to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso 8 hrs this morning you will depart Santiago heading towards the coast to visit Viña del Mar & Valparaiso. Depart Santiago for a full day heading towards the coast. Enjoy the first stop in Pomaire, a small village where the inhabitants work the local clay to make a variety of dishes, pots and interesting sculptures amongst other handicrafts.Continue to the coast and visit the beach area of Renaca and the town of Vina del Mar, known as the Garden city for its pretty parks and flower lined streets. Visit the Gaming Casino and the coastal road.
  • In the afternoon continue to the picturesque port of Valparaiso built in the 16th century on a total of 43 hills which are reached by narrow windy streets, staircases and a series of lifts (funiculars) which is now declared by UNESCO as patrimony of humanity because of its eclectic architecture and urban development.
