Welcome to Italy. Upon arrival at Florence Airport, complete immigration formalities and collect your baggage. You will be met by our representative and transferred by private car to your hotel. Check in to the hotel (early check-in is not guaranteed). The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Florence independently. Overnight stay in Florence.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided city tour of Florence. Visit Piazza della Signoria, the elegant Loggia dei Lanzi with its renowned sculptures, and the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its marble façade, bell tower, and Baptistery featuring the famous Gates of Paradise. Continue to the iconic Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s historic covered bridge. Later, explore the Oltrarno district, a vibrant neighborhood known for its artisan workshops preserving centuries-old craftsmanship. Discover ateliers specializing in silverwork, leather goods, ceramics, engraved metals, inlaid wood, and handmade shoes, making this area a living open-air museum of Florentine tradition. After breakfast, enjoy a hands-on cooking class in Florence focusing on bread, focaccia, and pizza preparation, followed by lunch. After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Montepulciano, Pienza, and Montalcino. Visit Montepulciano, often referred to as the “Pearl of the 16th Century,” celebrated for its Renaissance architecture and breathtaking countryside views. Continue to Pienza, a UNESCO-listed Renaissance town offering panoramic views over the Val d’Orcia and renowned for its Pecorino cheese. Visit a local producer, such as Fattoria Pianporcino or similar, to learn about cheese production and enjoy a tasting. Proceed to Montalcino, set within the Val d’Orcia Natural Park and world-famous for Brunello di Montalcino wine. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer by private car to Florence Airport for your onward journey.
