Panama City Tour & the Panama Canal starts out with a fascinating visit to the Miraflores Locks Visitor Center. You will then continue to the Biodiversity Museum Continue for lunch to the Casco Viejo historical part of town. Soberania National Park is one of the most accessible areas for wildlife observation in Central America. You will navigate on a boat on the Gatun Lake, a manmade lake, part of the Panama Canal. So, besides the local fauna (monkeys, iguanas, caimans, turtles and many others) you will see ships cruising the Panama Canal. This tour also includes ecological expositions: orchid, butterflies and frog nurseries, as well as Sloth’s rescue center. Watch in awe as dolphins play in their natural habitat before diving into the crystal-clear waters of Cayo Coral for some fantastic snorkeling. Then, explore Zapati- lla Cay, one of the most pristine and picturesque beaches in Bocas, where you can enjoy the warm waters, walk along the beach or admire the exuberant vegetation. Keep an eye out for hawksbill turtles, who come to nest on the island’s beaches during the rainy season.
